Hello and Happy February to all!  I have some new performances and news to share with you.  First, I will be returning to one of my favorite NYC venues, Jazz at Kitano, for three nights of solo piano on February 14th, 28th, and March 7th.  After that, I’ll be the music director for actress/singer Gloria Reuben’s new show at 54 Below called “Ladies Night,” entirely devoted to celebrating great women in popular music history.  In April I’ll head back to Europe for 10 days of touring with the Philippe Lemm Trio, the second leg of the CD release tour.

In the audiobook world, at the end of this month, I’m excited to be taking my first foray into audiobook directing through Audible Studios, where I will be working on a few contemporary Italian fiction books.  More to come!

And finally, something I’m really excited about- I have been commissioned by Rev. Max Wolf and the parish of All Saints’ Church in Rehoboth Beach, DE to write a Jazz Mass for their annual October Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival!  I have been wanting to do this for quite some time and I’m really looking forward to it.  The piece will be performed by the choir of All Saints’ Church, and feature my good friend and fabulous singer, Andrea Wood.  Stay tuned!

Lastly- while I am no expert on self-improvement (for that, check out my sister’s blog!) it can be hard to feel positive in today’s uncertain/tumultuous world, and I definitely am in that boat right now.  I encourage everyone to try to stay healthy, surround yourself with the people you care about, and stay vigilant, and help and care for each other!

Hello everyone!  Best wishes for a wonderful 2017 to you and yours.  Between a fantastic debut CD tour with the Philippe Lemm Trio and the Genesis Piano Project in Europe, and 3 wonderful performances with acclaimed actress Gloria Reuben, 2016 capped off on a high note.  Looking ahead, the trio will be hitting the road again in April for the second leg of the European tour, and Gloria and I will be returning to 54 Below on March 11th!  In the voiceover realm, I’m glad to be back in the booth for Audible Studios and Tantor Media.  Stay tuned!

I also want to give a special shout-out to my sister, Marina Di Loreto, who is graduating from Temple University this spring and with whom I’m collaborating on her senior dance piece.  This will be my first foray into the world of electronic music production, and I couldn’t be more excited to be working on it with my own sister.  Check out her blog, A Dancer’s Live-It!”
