I’m excited to share that my new piece “The 125th Anniversary Jazz Mass,” commissioned by the Parish of All Saints’ Church and St. George’s Chapel in Rehoboth Beach, DE, will be premiered October 14th and 15th, 2017, at the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival. News can be found here. The piece will feature my good friend Andrea Wood on lead vocals, Ethan O’Reilly on bass and Philippe Lemm on drums, and the choirs of both All Saints Church and the Hood College Choir. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time and hope some of you in the Delaware area can join us!

Also, the Genesis Piano Project will return after 3 years to one of our favorite venues, the Maison de la Musique in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec! All information can be found here.
Finally, in the voice acting world, Audible Studios is producing an audio drama series of the old pulp magazine comic, Doc Savage. I’m thrilled to be playing the role of the ruff’n’gruff Monk Mayfield. Be on the lookout for this exciting audio adventure!
Hello and Happy February to all! I have some new performances and news to share with you. First, I will be returning to one of my favorite NYC venues, Jazz at Kitano, for three nights of solo piano on February 14th, 28th, and March 7th. After that, I’ll be the music director for actress/singer Gloria Reuben’s new show at 54 Below called “Ladies Night,” entirely devoted to celebrating great women in popular music history. In April I’ll head back to Europe for 10 days of touring with the Philippe Lemm Trio, the second leg of the CD release tour.
In the audiobook world, at the end of this month, I’m excited to be taking my first foray into audiobook directing through Audible Studios, where I will be working on a few contemporary Italian fiction books. More to come!
And finally, something I’m really excited about- I have been commissioned by Rev. Max Wolf and the parish of All Saints’ Church in Rehoboth Beach, DE to write a Jazz Mass for their annual October Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival! I have been wanting to do this for quite some time and I’m really looking forward to it. The piece will be performed by the choir of All Saints’ Church, and feature my good friend and fabulous singer, Andrea Wood. Stay tuned!
Lastly- while I am no expert on self-improvement (for that, check out my sister’s blog!) it can be hard to feel positive in today’s uncertain/tumultuous world, and I definitely am in that boat right now. I encourage everyone to try to stay healthy, surround yourself with the people you care about, and stay vigilant, and help and care for each other!
